The transition from foster care at 18 can lead to challenges such as homelessness and unemployment. Habakkuk's Kids is creating a transitional living facility to support young adults, offering a safe space for community connection and hope.
We aim to collaborate with local businesses to support young adults in our program by offering activities such as education, trades, career training, money management, healthy living, hygiene, home economics, and time management, ultimately helping them lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
We are dedicated to supporting young adults aging out of the system by offering a wide range of services to enhance their lives. Our target will be ages 18-24. Our approach will be providing food and shelter as well as basic life skills to these young adults. Our mission is to better equip them for life to ensure self sufficiency and become productive citizen of the community.
